Monsoon Café general manager Jo Won has a passion for great food and hospitality and brings a love of the business to Monsoon Cafe. Jo’s enthusiasm for the restaurant industry began in his teens and he has held nearly every job in the industry. He Joined GlobalDining Inc. in 1999 and has worked his way up the ranks. In 2010 Jo was promoted to General Manager.

Jo is never content with the status quo and strives to develop and mentor his staff members daily. Monsoon Café has transformed its self under Jo’s watch into one of the premier restaurants in Santa Monica. Jo finds ways to constantly improve the quality of service and value delivered to his guest.

When he is not managing Monsoon Café, Jo enjoys staying active by running along the beach and surfing. He feels most comfortable near the beach which makes Monsoon Café’s location ideal.
